Hi I am Amanda, and no matter what your dog's issue -if we work together- we CAN get your dog POSITIVELY TRAINED! The training methods I have found to work best are: Positive first! but having other "tools" in your bag cannot be underestimated. All dogs are different, so having an open mind to what your dog needs is an important part of my training.
Having a dog who is a pleasure to live with, rather than a nightmare, is a matter of giving your dog what he needs: Clean lines, Consistancy, and a Confident, Competent leader who takes care of his/her dog's physical needs.
It is easy to know when all of these needs are not being met- you can guarantee one or many behavioral issues will arise. My job is to help you figure out what YOU need to change so that your dog's incorrect behavior can change.

Our Foster Program
We take dogs from the local animal shelter who have had trouble getting adopted for one reason or another, and work through those issues so that they can find a happy, loving family. Amanda relishes this one on one time with dogs who have had their families turn their backs on them, or have never had a family. "You can see it in their eyes, they know I saved them" says Amanda, "Not only do I get to give these dogs another chance, I also get the priceless lessons every dog who comes through here teaches me. You can't buy that kind of experience".
